Spatter Shield™ is a welding accessory kit that is a break through in welding technology. 

Spatter Shield™ is an in-line system which, by atomising a unique fluid into the shielding gas flow, reduces the effect of spatter adhesion.

When the Spatter Shield™ welding kit is used less time is wasted on the cleaning and finishing of the weld application.

When the Spatter Shield™  welding accessory kit is used within optimum parameters, the life of the torch nozzle can be extended by up to 4.5 times, and the contact tip by up to 6 times.

The Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit consists of 2 components, a probe and a fluid dispenser, and fits into the existing system. The fluid is compatible with: CO2 , Argon, Argon Based Mixtures, Helium, Hydrogen and is suitable for: Carbon Steel, Galvanised Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Silicon Bronze Welding and Hard Facing.

The system can be pre set to different customer requirements to meet varying diffusible hydrogen levels. Applicable standards are H5, H10, H15.

The Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit fits easily on all standard manual MIG and Robot Welders; and provides measurable reductions in time spent on job, downtime,  maintenance and replacement costs - all which result in increased productivity and profitability to the business.

The pictures below shows the difference with and without Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit As you can see when Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit is not used, there is a continuous build up of spatter around the gas shroud. When the Spatter Shield™ welding accessory kit is used the spatter adhesion is almost none existant.
